 Police in Ekiti State are intensifying their search for Helen Eberechukwu Okorie, a 500-level student at Ekiti State University in Ado Ekiti, who has been missing since September 13, 2023. The Police Public Relations Officer of the Ekiti State Command, Sunday Abutu, made this announcement in a statement titled 'Missing Person' in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday.

Abutu stated that Helen Okorie, a 23-year-old female student from the Irona area of Ado Ekiti, has not been located since her disappearance. He further added, "The Command has initiated an investigation to determine her whereabouts, and anyone possessing valuable information about her current location is urged to contact the nearest Police Station or call 09064050086."

The statement includes the following details: "This notice is issued to inform the public that Helen Eberechukwu Okorie, residing at No.15, Ayoba Quarters, Behind Sadiat Hotel, Irona Area, Ado Ekiti, left her residence on September 13, 2023, at around 8 am, heading to an unknown destination and has not returned since. She is 23 years old, with a chocolate complexion, proficient in English and Igbo languages, and has no tribal marks. She is a 500-level student at Ekiti State University."
